Lazy Neighbors was created by designer YL Lynn Yeh in 2017 as her senior thesis project at Parsons The New School. Lynn has been interested in the notion of rejuvenating nature, and hope to bring nature, color and calmness back in the bustling city life of New York City, where she currently resides in. Lazy Neighbors aims to create a visual and physical space for people who are seeking freedom in their mind, and for people who need a space to take a deep breath and feel refresh while living in a stressful environment. The idea of playing in-between reality and dream-like environments in hopes to find everyone's inner peace, recreates a moment where people feel free, calm, and joyful. Lazy Neighbors hopes to recreate different such moments in future collections that will keep provoking the surrealistic nature of a person's mind. The brand is not trying to change the way of living by being a disruptive force, but it strives to provide an outlet where you can listen to your own heart and slow down, giving a chance for people around you to feel the same way.
